A: The website migration service that we are offering is free (to a certain extent). We will move your website(s) to our high–end cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from experience that switching web hosting providers can result in lost data and undesired network downtime. Because of this, we will do all that for you at no cost!We have highly professional administrators whose primary responsibility is to make certain that your web site performs precisely as it did on your former web hosting platform. The administrators are experts in transferring custom–made web sites, as well as web sites that are based on popular applications such as WordPress and Joomla^™.

A: There are plenty of aspects to take into consideration – the total amount of web files, the physical size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the current workload of our website migration professionals, etc. Still, we do try to implement all website migrations in a 48–hour time window. Less sizeable websites are migrated much faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: Yep. We’ll require the name of the web site that you wish us to transfer. We’ll also require a means to log in to your present hosting account so that we can get the files associated with your site.

A: In order for us to start the migration of your web hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to disclose essentially the same information you have provided to your old host. We also have an extremely strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how personal information is handled.

A: Your web site will continue to work exactly like it did before with your former web hosting provider. When we are through with the transfer, your web site will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we will ask you to preview it. If everything is working correctly, all you will have to do is change the name server records corresponding to your domain name. Your site will be transferred to us with no downtime.

A: While we move your web content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We won’t get in touch with them in any way.

A: We can migrate your website from any web hosting provider or any Linux–based web hosting platform as long as we can access the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only sites that we’re unable to transfer are the ones based on closed–source software applications like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
